PADI Open Water Diver Course
Price: $350 USD
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age 15 years
- Minimum age 10 years for Junior Open Water Diver
Course Description: Get your PADI scuba certification. If you've always wanted
to learn how to scuba dive, discover new adventures or simply see the wondrous world
beneath the waves, this is where it starts. The PADI Open Water Diver course is
the worlds most popular scuba course, and has introduced millions of people to the
adventurous diving lifestyle. After completion of the course you are a lifelong
certified diver and may dive anywhere in the world.
You learn the basics you need to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Instructor.
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
- Knowledge Development (online, home study or in a classroom ) to understand basic
principles of scuba diving
- Confined water dives to learn basic scuba skills
- Open water dives to review your skills and explore!
PADI OWD program includes:
- scuba gear, manual and certification papers
- shallow water sessions and theoretical training
- 4 boat dives at local reefs
After completing your PADI Open Water Diver course you may want to try out the
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
course.
