Cenotes are deep, water filled sinkholes formed by rain water percolating through the soft limestone above. Over millions of years the water formed caves, passageways and huge caverns which are highly decorated with stalactites (hang from the ceiling) and stalagmites. The cenotes are actually collapsed entrances leading to underground rivers which run through large interconnected cave and cavern systems. The Mayans called these sinkholes "Dzonot" (sacred well), the Spanish word is cenote.
We offer a 1 day trip with two dives. A small van is going to pick you up at Puerto Juárez Ultramar ferry station and takes you to the diving place - equipment, snacks and drinks are provided. Equipment and transportation are included in the price. Usually we go to Chac-Mol, Dos Ojos, Grand cenote, Azul and Crystalino.

Swim with the world's largest fish, the whale shark, measuring up to 18 meters (59 feet) in length.
The season for the Whale Sharks is from 15 May to 15 September. We take
small groups (max. 10 persons) for a 1 day trip from 7:30 to approx. 3:00 p.m.
Equipment, fresh fruit, sandwitches and soft drinks are included in the price.
